Welcome to my website.

You have probably come to it because something in your life, or the life of a loved one, is not right. Many things can cause distress or concern in our lives: broken relationships, bereavement, loss of direction in our careers, difficulty making important choices, feelings of anxiety, and so on.

Most of the time we manage these situations and move on. But there are times when we can’t seem to find our way through them, and when that happens, we may need the help of a professional.

Systemic therapy, which is the way I work, is about relationships: in the family, among friends, between couples and at work. Systemic therapists work with people to help them to find the best way to manage whatever is troubling them so that they can get on with their lives.

Our experiences as children are crucial in forming us as people, but unlike for example psychoanalysis, this form of therapy does not focus on the past. The past is taken in to account but the focus is on how to move forward and not allow things that may have happened years ago to dictate how a person lives now.
